Requesting a payment plan for an infringement issued?

You may be eligible for a payment plan if you are in receipt of any one of the following:

• a Commonwealth Government (Centrelink) Pensioner Concession Card;
• a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card or Gold Card; or
• a Centrelink Health Care Card (all types including non-means tested).

Please make your request for a payment plan below, providing a copy of your eligible card.

Are you experiencing Financial Hardship?

If you are experiencing financial hardship and do not have one of the above concession cards you still may be entitled to an extension of time to pay your infringements.

Accordingly, please provide a copy of your eligible card or documents from the following list to support your application for a Payment Plan or an Extension of Time:

• Documentation from a financial councillor
• official eviction notice (not a warning of possible eviction due to rental arrears)
• pending disconnection of essential services, e.g. water, electricity, gas; but does not include mobile phone or internet bills
• notice of impending legal action
• letter from charitable organisation re loss of employment or inability to provide for basic necessities
• bank notice, e.g. overdraft call or mortgaged property repossession
• overdue medical bills
• letter from doctor verifying the inability to earn an income due to illness or caring for a sick family member
• final notice from school re payment of mandatory fees
• repossession notice of essential items, e.g. car, motorcycle.
• Any other documentation that provides evidence of financial hardship.
